I was recommended this restaurant by a good friend who knew my love of food and a good, fun atmosphere. It did not disappoint! I was told to order the small plates which I did and loved every single thing. My husband can be quite fussy with what he eats but I told him to trust me in ordering what I think he would like, following the recommendation I got and we were both blown away with how exceptional the food was. We then decided to stay for a couple of drinks as the atmosphere was fun and vibrant. I requested a cocktail that they didn’t have on the menu but was told that the barman could make it for me. It was delicious and I ended up having 3. We will definitely be back again and I am so grateful to have been told about it. What a brilliant place to go for an evening. I’m excited to try their roasts one day too!

Thank you so much to the Peppermill team for a wonderful mother's day. We were a group of 11 adults and two young children. The food and Service was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, all our requests were dealt with a smile. All the mums on the table were given a giftbag with roses, chocolate and either a bottle of gin, sole gin and tonic, what a lovely thing to do. We hold all our family get-together there and that's been a few, never been disappointed. It's a real gem of a restaurant to visit, highly recommended. Thank you!

Delicious food, great service. Wish we could have stayed longer but that's impossible with a toddler and a baby! They were very accommodating and welcoming which doesn't always happen when you turn up with children so it's brilliant to have found somewhere we can comfortably go was a whole family. Came here before Christmas as well for a girls' night out and the food and service was so good I knew I had to come back in the new year with my partner. Very glad I did!

Came here for the first time on a Saturday, table booked for 18:30. Arrived a few minutes early, but was no issue and was greeted and taken to our table towards the back. Ordered our drinks from a huge selection of different wines, spirits, cocktails, beers and soft drinks and they arrived quite promptly. She had a wine, I had a Meantime IPA, we also had some tap water for the table. We decided to go for the 'small bites' plates so we could have a bit of a relaxed, tapas-style dinner and they recommended 2-3 dishes per person on the menu. We went for; Baby Chorizo, Halloumi Fries with Sweet Chilli Mayo, Butterbean & sweet potato hummus with Flatbread, Truffle & Parmesan Fries, Slow Cooked Pigs Cheek and Cod Cheek Tikka. All dishes were cooked and presented to an extremely decent standard, and there were no major complaints about any of them. Although I do have a single piece of constructive criticism; -The Cod Cheek Tikka could've been served with a naan bread as it was a slightly saucier dish. For me personally the Cooked Pigs Cheek was my favourite dish. I would've loved a double portion of that and mash and have that as a full blown main meal. The combination of textures in the dish was amazing, and the flavours were absolutely spot on too! Afterwards, we decided to skip pudding and have a random cocktail we've never had before. She had an espresso martini, I had a Tiki Mai Tai - Both were actually really nice and we'd definitely order them again when on a night out. Overall, an extremely nice evening out, the food and service was absolutely spot on. My only negative for the evening was the atmosphere as we were sat next to a rowdy table of 6 who didn't have a volume knob, nor knew how to keep their P's and Q's to a minimum whilst in a restaurant. Obviously that's not something I can control, and isn't an every day thing for the restaurant, just bad timing for us. Either way, we will 100% return in the future and try out their steak sharer as I got major food envy when I saw that coming out!

Staff are amazing polite funny professional. The food is out of this world. Will recommend to all I know an even the ones I don't. 10 out of 10 There wasn't a free table here on Wednesday evening. Will be back.

I went to the Peppermill for Sunday lunch and it was phenomenal! The staff were all extremely attentive, the service was friendly and warm and the food was delicious!! I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic service, superb staff, all very helpful with our questions about menu food etc, Bertie in particular was great. The steak sharing platter blew us away and we can't wait to return.
